Basketball Game Preview: Hudson Tigers vs. Hillsdale Hornets

The Hudson Tigers will face off against the Hillsdale Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hudson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Hudson took a 29-point defeat the last time they faced off against Addison, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Hudson escaped with a win on Wednesday against Addison by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53.

Hudson found their leader in sophomore Qwaden Wallace, who posted 24 points. That's the most points Wallace has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Isaac St. John, who had 11 points.

Meanwhile, Hillsdale didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Jonesville on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 58-52 victory.

Hillsdale's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Hudson, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Hudson was able to grind out a solid win over Hillsdale when the teams last played back in January, winning 62-55. Will Hudson repeat their success, or does Hillsdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
