Baseball Game Preview: Lake Nona Lions vs. Innovation Bulls

The Lake Nona Lions will challenge the Innovation Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Nona's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Innovation's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Lake Nona is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Timber Creek.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Innovation's offense. They fell just short of Tohopekaliga by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Bulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Innovation saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Nunez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Innovation now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Lake Nona, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.
