Baseball Recap: Crete-Monee Comes Up Short

Crete-Monee's last matchup with Tinley Park could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Saturday. The Warriors came up short against the Titans, falling 10-4. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Anthony Monegan was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Bryce Milburn also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Crete-Monee now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Tinley Park, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.
