Blue Ridge had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Berea on Tuesday. The Fighting Tigers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Tigers, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lily Mulkey was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two runs, and one RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Durham, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Blue Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Berea, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.

Coming up, Blue Ridge will welcome Pickens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Flame have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Berea, they will venture away from home to challenge Eastside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
