Basketball Game Preview: McIntosh Chiefs vs. Morrow Mustangs

The McIntosh Chiefs will take on the Morrow Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for McIntosh: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Morrow has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.

On Saturday, McIntosh ended up a good deal behind Banneker and lost 60-41.

Meanwhile, Morrow beat Newnan 55-44 on Saturday. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Cougars are ranked 232nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Morrow has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for McIntosh, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

McIntosh was taken down by Morrow 72-18 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point McIntosh was down 45-11.
