Basketball Recap: Bartlett Piles Up the Points Against Varsity Opponent

Bartlett strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 81-49. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 61-51 win Varsity Opponent walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.

Bartlett was led to victory by DJ Okoth and Dylan Jones. Okoth went 8-for-10 on his way to 20 points and seven boards, while Jones shot 54% from the field to rack up 19 points. The matchup was Okoth's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaury St. Ann, who posted six points.

Bartlett's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Bartlett will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on North Little Rock on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 79-37 loss against Dobyns-Bennett on the 28th.
