In what's become a running theme this season, Barstow gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past the Victor Valley Jackrabbits 11-3. Winning may never get old, but Barstow sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Barstow got a great performance from Kaylee Martinez as she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Martinez has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Mariah Rodriguez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and a triple. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now hit three or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Bledsoe, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Barstow is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Victor Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12-1.

Barstow will challenge Buena at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Barstow's favor is that they have posted big run totals in their last four matchups. As for Victor Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Granite Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Granite Hills is coming into the game with six straight victories at home, so Victor Valley will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
