Basketball Recap: Kathleen Red Devils vs. Lake Gibson Braves
Kathleen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 45-30 fall against the Lake Gibson Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 66-45 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Despite the loss, Kathleen still got an impressive performance from Haley Roper, who posted 24 points. Those 24 points gave Roper a new career-high.

Seffner Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Kathleen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Gibson, they will square off against Oasis Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
