Softball Recap: Adams Central Takes a Loss

Adams Central blew Goshen out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Goshen got their revenge. The Flying Jets fell just short of the RedHawks by a score of 12-10. The Flying Jets just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Izzy Isch led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run was her first of the season. Lillee Dull was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Adams Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Goshen, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11-1.

Adams Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against Central Noble on the 10th. As for Goshen, they will challenge Mishawaka at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
