Baseball Recap: Thurston-Cuming County vs. Fort Calhoun Pioneers
Thurston-Cuming County extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 8-6 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fort Calhoun Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Thurston-Cuming County of the 13-11 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
Braylen Wegner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
