Softball Recap: Ensworth Comes Up Short

Ensworth fell victim to Christ Presbyterian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 17-0 to the Lions. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Ensworth's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ensworth will take on rival Pope John Paul II at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Christ Presbyterian Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Lipscomb Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
