Gridley waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Oroville Tigers by a score of 2-0. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Iris Counihan paced Gridley's offense, picking up seven kills. Counihan got some help from Isabel Santillan and her 28 assists. Counihan also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Madison Carey, racking up two apiece.

Gridley's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Oroville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Gridley will challenge Hamilton at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oroville, they will take on Red Bluff at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
