PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central is a perfect 6-0 against Jacksonville since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bluejays will head out on the road to challenge the Crimsons at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pleasant Plains, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bluejays fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Jacksonville's offense. They lost 6-0 to Glenwood on Tuesday.

Jacksonville has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5-1 record this season. As for PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central took their victory against Jacksonville in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
