Abernathy has gone 10-0 against New Deal recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Abernathy Antelopes will be playing in front of their home fans against the New Deal Lions at 6:15 p.m. Abernathy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Abernathy is returning to their home court after beating New Home on theirs, despite the fact New Home has dominated at home this season. Abernathy took down New Home 51-33 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Deal). They strolled past Smyer with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 66-48. The Lions pushed the score to 51-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bobcats cut but never quite recovered from.

New Deal has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Abernathy, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-8.

Everything came up roses for Abernathy against New Deal when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-27 victory. Does Abernathy have another victory up their sleeve, or will New Deal turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
