Basketball Game Preview: Montgomery Tigers vs. Logansport Tigers

The Montgomery Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Logansport Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery will be strutting in after a victory while Logansport will be coming in after a loss.

Montgomery is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Northwood on Friday. Montgomery came out on top against Northwood by a score of 42-29. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly 13 points.

Meanwhile, Logansport suffered their biggest defeat since February 19, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 70-48 to Lakeview.

Montgomery has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. As for Logansport, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4.

Montgomery and Logansport were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but Montgomery came up empty-handed after a 57-56 defeat. Can Montgomery avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
