Volleyball Recap: George Washington Comes Up Short

George Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Halifax County Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

George Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Halifax County, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. George Washington will challenge rival Tunstall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Halifax County is set to take on their familiar foe Mecklenburg County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
