Basketball Recap: Watersmeet Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Watersmeet hadn't done well against Lake Linden-Hubbell recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Watersmeet Nimrods came out on top against the Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes by a score of 54-43. The win was some much needed relief for the Nimrods as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Watersmeet's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Lake Linden-Hubbell, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-14.
