Softball Game Preview: McGraw Eagles vs. Harpursville Hornets

The McGraw Eagles will face off against the Harpursville Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. McGraw will be strutting in after a victory while Harpursville will be coming in after a loss.

McGraw made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Marathon, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Olympians on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Leah Terwilliger, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Millard, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Harpursville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Sidney, falling 15-0.

Harpursville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McGraw, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
