Football Recap: Negaunee's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

If Negaunee was feeling good fresh off their 25-2 takedown of Gladstone last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Miners took a 33-18 bruising from the Calumet Copper Kings on Friday. The Miners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Copper Kings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Ben Anderson went supernova For Calumet., rushing for 64 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries, while also picking up 72 receiving yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Negaunee fell to 2-1. As for Calumet, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
