After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southeast Career Tech, Foothill was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Las Vegas Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six games by 12 runs or more so far this season.
Jordan Ackerman made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one double.
