Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is West Wendover's 12th in Last 14 Outings

West Wendover extended their road winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Adryan Carlos. The West Wendover Wolverines strolled past the Battle Mountain Longhorns with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 54-40 thanks in part to Carlos, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last four times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Efren Delmuro, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Despite the loss, Battle Mountain still got an impressive performance from Zayne Hall, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brodie Smith, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points.

West Wendover has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Battle Mountain, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-6.
