St. Joseph Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Scott Skyhawks by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Irish were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Skyhawks, so the Irish were just returning the favor.

Coincidentally, St. Joseph Central and Scott will both be playing Wayne the next time they take the court. The Irish will head out to face the Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Skyhawks will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
