Soccer Game Preview: Osceola vs. Tampa Catholic

The Osceola Warriors will face off against the Tampa Catholic Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Osceola is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.3 goals per game this season.

Osceola's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Petersburg as Osceola made off with a 3-0 victory. Considering the Warriors have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Nico D?Angio and Dorian Orlicz scored all three of Osceola's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, Tampa Catholic fell victim to Tampa Prep and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Terrapins. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 388th, while the Terrapins are ranked 41st).

Tampa Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10-1 record this season. As for Osceola, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2.
