Volleyball Recap: Polytechnic Triumphs

Polytechnic won the last time they faced Chadwick and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Polytechnic Panthers came out on top against the Chadwick Dolphins by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Polytechnic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-22, 25-17, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Chadwick still got an impressive performance from Noah Matsunaga, who had 18 digs and one assist. The dominant performance gave Matsunaga a new career-high in digs.

The victory got Polytechnic back to even at 3-3. As for Chadwick, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.

Polytechnic has already played their next game (against Providence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chadwick, they will head out to face off against Rio Hondo Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
