Middle Park waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Monte Vista Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Peyton Fosha paced Middle Park's offense, picking up 14 kills. Fosha got some help from Laura Bell and her 20 assists. Bell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Middle Park's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Monte Vista, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Middle Park will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Meeker at 9:00 a.m. As for Monte Vista, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against North Fork on the 31st.
