Mountain Home is a perfect 7-0 against Alma since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bombers will host the Airedales at 4:30 p.m. Mountain Home will be strutting in after a victory while Alma will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Mountain Home needed a bit of extra time to put away Batesville. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Pioneers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bombers.

Meanwhile, Alma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Farmington. That's two games in a row now that the Airedales have lost by exactly four runs.

The victory got Mountain Home back to even at 9-9. As for Alma, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 9-9.

Mountain Home was able to grind out a solid win over Alma when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 6-2. Do the Bombers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Airedales turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
