Basketball Recap: Ingomar Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Ingomar hadn't done well against New Albany recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Ingomar Falcons strolled past the New Albany Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 60-43. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons who have now won three matches in a row.

Olen Faulkner had a dynamite game for Ingomar, going 6 for 8 on his way to 20 points. Brayden Tillery was another key player, putting up eight points and ten rebounds.

Ingomar was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Albany only posted four assists.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kylan King, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Simpson, who posted six points.

Ingomar has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for New Albany, they moved to 13-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Ingomar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-35 victory against Palmer on the 14th. As for New Albany, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 65-45 win against North Pontotoc on the 14th.
