Volleyball Recap: Mark Keppel Comes Up Short

The Mark Keppel Aztecs came up short against the St. Lucy's Regents on Monday, falling 3-0.

While Mark Keppel ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Mya Moshrefi was nothing short of spectacular for St. Lucy's: she had 22 digs and two assists. Those 22 digs gave Moshrefi a new career-high.

Mark Keppel's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. Lucy's, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mark Keppel will take on Temple City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Lucy's, they will face off against Immaculate Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
