Softball Recap: Ohio County Comes Up Short

Ohio County lost to Muhlenberg County on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-7 to the Mustangs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ohio County's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Muhlenberg County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Ohio County is taking a road trip to challenge McLean County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.5 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. Muhlenberg County has already played their next contest (against Logan County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
