Maple Mountain has gone a perfect 3-0 against Wasatch recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Wasps at 6:30 p.m. Maple Mountain will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Maple Mountain is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Springville, who was ranked 19th at the time (Maple Mountain was ranked first). The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Devils on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wasatch, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against Spanish Fork by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

While Wasatch might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Spanish Fork scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 25-19.

Wasatch is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Maple Mountain, they pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Everything went Maple Mountain's way against Wasatch in their previous meeting on April 8th, as Maple Mountain made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
