Soccer Recap: Surry Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mount Airy last Friday, Surry Central came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles came up short against the Forbush Falcons on Tuesday, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for Surry Central in their meetings with Forbush: they've now lost four in a row.

Surry Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Forbush, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Surry Central will be playing in front of their home fans against South Stokes at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Forbush, they are taking a road trip to face off against East Surry at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
