Basketball Game Preview: Prospect Panthers vs. Leland Chargers

The Prospect Panthers will face off against the Leland Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Prospect lost to Independence at home by a 64-49 margin. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the 76ers: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Leland posted their biggest victory since December 30, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Silver Creek 54-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Chargers have posted against the Raiders since December 11, 2017.

The victory made it two in a row for Leland and bumps their season record up to 12-8. As for Prospect, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Prospect didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Leland in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 40-36 win. Will Prospect repeat their success, or does Leland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
