Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wray). They blew past the Sedgwick County Cougars 17-1 on Monday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Brodie Riggleman was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Wray: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Helling, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Wray kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Wray's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Sedgwick County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wray beat the Cougars by a score of 12-0 later that day.
