Football Game Preview: Bradenton Christian Panthers vs. Donahue Catholic Shamrocks

The Bradenton Christian Panthers will face off against the Donahue Catholic Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradenton Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Bradenton Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-12 victory over Geneva Classical Academy. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven contests by 26 points or more so far this season.

Holland Hume had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 244 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Connor Henderson was Hume's top target, picking up 67 receiving yards, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Meanwhile, Donahue Catholic faced Shorecrest Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Shamrocks came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 19-12. Those 19 points were actually the fewest the Shamrocks have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Bradenton Christian's record is now 10-0. As for Donahue Catholic, their record now sits at 8-2.

Bradenton Christian strolled past Donahue Catholic in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 42-24. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Shamrocks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
