Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Wins Going Away Against Academie Lafayette

Lutheran got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Academie Lafayette.

Lutheran's offense was headlined by Shiloh Gerard and Shine Gerard, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Hailey Cochran and her 21 assists. Shine was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 13 aces.

Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 6-15-1. As for Academie Lafayette, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

As of now, neither Lutheran nor Academie Lafayette have any future games scheduled.
