Volleyball Recap: Harker Find Success + How To Watch

Harker hadn't done well against Menlo School recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, 25-16.

Aline Grinspan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Harker was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Menlo School lost, don't look at Ava Wang. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and two assists. Wang has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last nine times she's played. Mia Bowers also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Harker's record now sits at 13-11. As for Menlo School, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-17.

Harker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Menlo School, they will welcome Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
