The team relied heavily on Caden Ramsey, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennon Sharp, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Garber was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mulhall-Orlando only posted a batting average of .125.

Meanwhile, Waukomis suffered their closest defeat since April 11, 2024 last Thursday. They fell just short of Pond Creek-Hunter by a score of 4-2. The matchup marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Garber now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Waukomis, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Garber came out on top in a nail-biter against Waukomis when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 8-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Garber since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
