Basketball Recap: Van Nuys Takes a Loss

Van Nuys was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kennedy Cougars. The Wolves were probably out for revenge after losing 65-44 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Van Nuys' record is now 1-4. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Van Nuys won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Reseda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reseda will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Van Nuys surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kennedy, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Sylmar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy is facing Sylmar at the right time seeing as Sylmar is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
