Volleyball Recap: Berkner's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Lincoln on Thursday, Berkner came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the Terrell Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Berkner was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Terrell work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 30-28, 25-21, 22-25, 15-4.

Berkner's offense was headlined by Adau Chol and Katie Volpe, who picked up nine kills apiece. Volpe really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. Chol was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Berkner fell to 2-1. As for Terrell, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berkner is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Terrell, they will head out to take on MacArthur at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
