Volleyball Recap: Evergreen Valley Comes Up Short

Evergreen Valley lost against Leigh back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Longhorns, falling 3-0. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Evergreen Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

Evergreen Valley now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Leigh, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-6 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Evergreen Valley will challenge rival Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Leigh is set to square off against their familiar foe Leland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
