Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Has No Trouble Against South O'brien

Trinity Christian barely beat South O'Brien the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers blew past the Wolverines 11-1 on Wednesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Tigers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Trinity Christian's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2. As for South O'Brien, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Trinity Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Harris-Lake Park at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, South O'Brien will challenge rival Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
