Volleyball Recap: Weldon Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Weldon and Oxford Prep squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Weldon had to settle for second. They came up short against the Griffins, falling 3-0. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Griffins recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Weldon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Oxford Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-12.

Weldon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oxford Prep, they will take on East Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
