Baseball Recap: Garrard County Takes a Loss

Garrard County suffered their closest defeat since March 26th on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Lincoln County Patriots by a score of 5-3. The Golden Lions have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Garrard County's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Lincoln County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Garrard County will welcome Casey County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln County, they will square off against Bardstown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.4 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
