Soccer Recap: Sandia Prep Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Sandia Prep was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Manzano Monarchs could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

With that draw, Sandia Prep's record moves to 0-1-1. Meanwhile, Manzano's record is now 0-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandia Prep will head out to square off against Hope Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sandia Prep will need to watch out since Hope Christian have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season. As for Manzano, they will head out on the road to face off against Cleveland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
