Baseball Recap: Fort Cherry Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fort Cherry can now relate to. They came up short against the Neshannock Lancers on Tuesday, falling 11-2.

Fort Cherry's defeat dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Neshannock, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

Fort Cherry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Everett on the 1st. As for Neshannock, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Redbank Valley on the 1st.
