Basketball Game Preview: Escondido Cougars vs. High Tech NC Raptor

The Escondido Cougars will challenge the High Tech NC Raptor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Escondido has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 21.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 87-41, which was the final score in Escondido's tilt against Ramona on Friday.

Nathan James put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Danny Valadez, who scored eight points.

Meanwhile, High Tech NC was beaten by High Tech Mesa 67-25 on Thursday. The Raptor haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Escondido's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for High Tech NC, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.
