Baseball Recap: Lawson Takes a Loss

Lawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Franklin Admirals, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lightning of the 14-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Lawson's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Franklin, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawson will square off against Smyrna at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Franklin, they will be playing at home against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Cougars have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
