Soccer Recap: Seacrest Country Day Takes a Loss

Seacrest Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the First Baptist Academy Lions. While losing is never fun, the Stingrays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 532nd, while the Lions are ranked 225th).

Seacrest Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for First Baptist Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1-4.

Seacrest Country Day didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Southwest Florida Christian on the 9th. As for First Baptist Academy, they will square off against Community School of Naples at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. First Baptist Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
