While River Ridge's victory against Woodstock wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights beat the Wolverines by a goal, winning 2-1. Given River Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Woodstock are ranked 235th) , the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reagan Kelly and Madeline Buckley scored both of River Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

The win made it two in a row for River Ridge and bumps their season record up to 4-7. As for Woodstock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
