            Basketball Recap: Pike Red Devils vs. Franklin Central Flashes        
        
		
        
        
            With a playoff win on the line, Pike rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   61-50  victory over the Franklin Central Flashes. The  win was nothing new for the Red Devils as they're now sitting on four straight.

 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pike to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Komari Booker, who  dropped  a double-double with 11  points and ten  rebounds. Thanks to that strong game,  Booker now owns an excellent 45.2%  shooting accuracy.  Alonna Divine was another key player,  going 7-for-11  to rack up 14 points and three  steals.
 Despite the  defeat, Franklin Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Payton Duvall  dropped  a double-double with 24  points and 11  boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Duvall has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riley Huotari, who  posted nine points along with five  assists and three  steals.
Pike's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Franklin Central,  with the  loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-10.
 Pike wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  46-43  win against Bloomington South on the 22nd. Franklin Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
